As part of the project, Földesi Rákóczi Mg Ltd. carried out energy modernization on the deteriorated buildings at its four livestock farms. The development, implemented with the help of the support, results in more energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and economically cost-effective operations.

Detailed Presentation of the Project’s Content

Our company operates four facilities, where the following developments have been carried out:

At the Földes Cattle Farm:

• Heating system for the milking parlor
• Upgrades to the social area of the milking parlor and the social building
• Installation of a 100 kWp solar power system

Poultry Farms:

Földes Pullet Rearing Farm:

• Two pullet rearing buildings on the farm, where a 150 kW solar power system has been installed.

Földes Laying Hen Farm:

• Four 1,095 m² barns housing the laying hens
• Development included a 100 kW solar power system and solar collectors
• Energy efficiency improvements in the social building
• Upgrades to the ventilation and cooling systems of four buildings
• Complete technological modernization of two buildings
• Replacement of windows and doors

Sáp Laying Hen Farm:

• Four 1,150 m² buildings on the farm
• Installation of a 50 kW solar power system and cooling panels on the barns
• Replacement of windows and doors
• The social building on the farm was also renovated for energy efficiency

By successfully utilizing the support, our farm can operate more competitively in both the domestic and international markets. Environmental protection is important to our company, and the project contributes to this through the use of green energy. Additionally, the proper technological advancements have significantly improved the living conditions for our animals. Overall, the project has contributed to the development of the national economy and the achievement of secure food supply.
